Our Organic Silver Needle White loose leaf tea, fleshy, bright colored and covered with tiny white hairs, comes from Fuding, a serene region with icy waterfalls and crystal clear lakes. The peaceful setting is reflected in the flavor – soft and mellow, with the freshness of honeydew melon and the soothing sweetness of a ripe cantaloupe. The shape of our Organic Silver Needle White loose leaf tea is very uniform, with no stems or leaves. It is picked between March and April when it is not raining and only using undamaged and unopened buds.
Our exquisite Silver Needle White loose leaf tea has a light, delicate quenching flavor underpinned by cucumber and melon freshness yet with a surprisingly full texture and satisfying velvety finish. The tea liquor is honeyed yellow with pale green hues.
The dried tea leaves are light and plump with large downy tips. The brewed buds show delicate, bright and even yellowish green color. When touched with the finger, the buds are thick but soft and elastic.
BREWING INSTRUCTIONS
Add a teaspoon of Silver Needle White loose leaf tea to 8 oz. (237 ml) of boiled pure water, steep for 2-3 minutes until the tea leaves start to absorb water and moves upward and downward in the water. Remove the tea leaves and enjoy.
Silver Needle White loose leaf tea is processed without the rolling process unlike to other types of tea. Therefore, the tea leaves may be brewed multiple times and you can enjoy the similar taste consistently.
